Hah! “For sure, eh?” Love it!

I did feel lucky to listen to Tommy. He’s got such a great personality for public speaking. And I learned a ton!

Looks like you had a great time, and thanks for sharing all that inspiration with us too. Love the dinning tables, just makes me want to have a dinner party. 😉

Doesn’t it make you want to invite people over? Trouble is, you’d have to do buffet style. Where would the food go in any of those situations?

I’m sorry, I got so distracted by the cross stitch I had to immediately come here and comment. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want that so badly. My mom used to cross stitch all the time and that is the coolest freaking thing I have ever seen. I love your other pictures too (the wood thing with the scroll saw work? BRILLIANT!) but I had to say that. WOW!!!!!

Oh, I hear you, Bronwyn – I loved the cross-stitch so much! It was incredible! I wonder how I can turn that into a not-so-huge craft around here!?!?!?

How beautiful! I’m like a magpie I love shiny thing too. I’m not loving blue, but then I am never on trend…and okay with it!

That’s too funny, because I’ve always loved blue (and am having a little turquoise moment in my living room right now). But you’re right – if you don’t love it, don’t use it, regardless of trend.

Sounds like you had a inspiring adventure. If I had gone, I am sure I would have wanted to come home and change everything about my own house. Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing some of what you learned.

That’s the trouble when you go to shows like this – suddenly, your house needs to be completely overhauled and “this could be concrete” and “should I have a lucite coffee table?” etc, etc. It’s just so much to take in!

Oh… that cross-stitched wall was more than daunting (yet incredibly inspiring). I wonder if anyone saw it and went home to do their own versions? I’m still planning on doing SOMETHING cross-stitchy. I’m making a promise to myself right. now.
