I love that I’m not alone in my Bulldog-love! It was the first time I had ever had it!

Um, can I have that drink please? Wowza! Your recipes look fantastic Tara- pinning. The only thing that could be better would be actually eating it in Mexico. With a view of the beach. But I think I will have to settle for the Canadian version for a while.

Oh Krista, you should be making these on the deck of your fabulous house (can you imagine sipping on a Bulldog – MUST be in an Ikea vase, I’m sure you have at least one! – looking at the lake?!?!). Too perfect.

But yes, Mexico would be nice, too. So much warmer this time of year! 😉

(And thanks for the pin, lady! )

Wow, I LOVE your lady-like drink! You’ my kinda woman, Tara! Your chips and salsa look absolutely amazing….much better than your restaurant goodies (however, date-nights are ah-mazing)!

There’s something to be said for a lady-like drink whilst jamming chips and salsa in your face! 🙂 It was a lovely date – we don’t get to do it all that often, so Mr. Suburble and I jumped at the chance to have some grown-up time.

Thank you so much, Jo-Anna! Believe me, they were tasty. You’re an excellent cook – I highly recommend making your own tortilla chips. They’re soooo good.

Never heard of that drink but it totally looks like you’re enjoying it, lol. I love chips and salsa and these look great. Did you get the tomatillos at your regular grocery store?

Yes, crazily enough! The tomatillos were in the section in the cooler (where the mushrooms, hot peppers, herbs, etc, are?). I was surprised at how easy it was to find them!

You should TRY that drink! It’s very yummy. The fact that it was in a vase was a nice touch, too! 🙂

Super yum!! And we just call those Coronaritas here – my husband’s bar serves a lot of them. 🙂

Hmmm… I wonder where the “Bulldog” name came from? I’m sure that they’re a huge hit. You should have heard the scoffs from the family next to us as my drink was delivered. I swear, they watched me drinking it just as much as they looked at their own food!

Danni – I know. I don’t have any Tequila in the house, and so I couldn’t make the Bulldog. But.. I promise you, I will make it! What a hit it would be at a party!

You MUST! Let me know what you think of it. You true Texans probably have very discerning palates when it comes to salsas. 🙂
