I am rooting for me to get moved next month. I will not be watching but DH probably will and hello – I love these ideas!! The paper as tablecloth is genius. Very whimsical and childlike. I would do that and scatter some Sharpies. Love.

Thank you so much, Paula! I’m thinking that the write-on tablecloth should be brought back – what about baby showers or BBQs… I can only imagine what would be scribbled down at some of our events. πŸ™‚

Oh I love the idea of asking your guest to bring their special thing AND providing the container! Awesome! I’m pulling for the Broncos!!! Love Peyton!

So does Mr. Suburble. He’s torn – he’s a Hawks and Broncos fan. I think that means that either way, he’ll be thrilled with the outcome!

Great idea for a party – potluck parties are always the most fun – people love to contribute food! And genius having them use your containers! Love it! Oh, and I love the Sharpies & the writeable tablecloth – those are always so much fun!!

I should put Kraft paper on the tables more often. The kids LOVE drawing all over it.

Not with Sharpies, though. Sharpies are a grown-up only item in this house! πŸ˜‰

GREAT ideas! The inviting with a dish and a request of a favorite is so clever! People hate thinking up what to bring… and hosts hate having dishes left behind!

Too true. And I hate it when I’ve left an event and realized that I’ve left servingware somewhere (Especially when it’s servingware that I LIKE)! This cuts out those corners! πŸ™‚

I love Spinach dip, too. I’m the girl always hovering over the bowl. (I have a dip-problem. I’ll admit it!)

Thank you so much, Kara! I will definitely hand out invitations like this – so much easier (for planning AND for clean-up!)

I LOVE this invitation idea! Because totally, you wonder what you should bring. How much easier if your hostess lets you know what the best menu addition would be and also, hey, put plop it in here. LOL!

I also love letting people write messages. I am going to be 100% honest now when I say… once people start “celebrating” that’s always a hit, and gets more and more hilarious. (Or in a less beer-filled-home party, the kiddos would certainly have a blast.)

You always have such great ideas!

Oh yes, I’m definitely doing this for a grown-up party. I can only imagine the entertainment value from the tablecloth once the party is done!

Mmm love spinach dip and love super bowl parties mainly for the food! Unless my team is in the Super Bowl and then I really like the game too! πŸ™‚

That’s me, too, Katie. I’m a huge fan of the food at SuperBowl parties – almost as much as the game! πŸ™‚

Angie – the cake stand is from Home Sense, actually! It was a few years back, but I’ve seen them there since.

Great ideas! We’re hosting this year and it’s definitely going to be a battle (my husband is a Seahawks fan and our friends are rooting for the Broncos). Hopefully the food and drinks will keep everyone happy!

Mr. Suburble is rooting for both sides – so he’ll be happy either way! The food and drinks will be plenty for me!
