Sophie and Hayden got the bird toys too this year, although not the digibird, but a different brand. And both of them have always been obsessed with birds. Funny how kids are, hey?

That’s so funny, isn’t it? The Digibird has been a hit and a half around here. Lucy is still convinced that the wild birds will come and visit their robot-cousin….

sorry kid, ain’t gonna happen. 😉

I am kind of freaked out by birds too honestly – though I have a huge bird tattoo on my back! But birds weird me out. haha!

My parents’ neighbor had a feeder that flung the squirrels off (oh my!) but if you don’t like that, my parents use this one and love it:

That birdfeeder looks like it means business. I’d have to see how this summer pans out. If I’m still loving the birds, I might shell out the dough for a squirrel-proof feeder.

I actually kind of love the idea of a feeder that chucks the squirrels. They’re crazy little devils that seem to float on the trees. I’m sure they have it coming. 😉

p.s. Too funny that you have a bird tattoo. I have one in my blog logo and as my favicon. Yet, if a bird landed in my hand, I’d probably scream my head off.
