Hi Tara! I came across your blog today via a Pinterest post about reupholstering an ottoman (a project I’m about to tackle!) and started reading through your posts and your “about me” page and thought, “We have so much in common! And I love her writing and her sense of humor! I want to be friends!” Isn’t it so hard to make friends as a grown up?! I was sooo hoping you were local but alas, you are in Canada and I’m in the U.S., in the Seattle area and that’s such a bummer! In any case, I still wanted to say hi and let you know that this fellow crafting momma who’s living in the ‘burbs and thrifting while caring for two little ones is here as a new reader and hopeful internet pal! So glad I found your site!

Elizabeth, this is perhaps one of the loveliest comments I’ve ever gotten on the blog! We’re not that far apart from each other, lady! I’d love to hear about your adventures in crafting with your kidlets. Email me! 🙂

I love it! All of it. I want to get that die now, and also maybe look at old prom pictures. I’ve got some gems myself.
