I love this so much, and I also love that paint sprayer! I have wanted one but was scared to purchase one from all the horror stories I have heard about them only working once. This may just be my next power tool purchase! 🙂

Bethany – you need to get one! You’re so crafty/DIY-savvy, you’ll find that this changes how you look at furniture and larger paint projects. Let me know if you do – I’d love to see your work!

This is amazing! I am super envious of your kids who will get to play in this house! What a dream! You’re doing great work and I’m so excited to see the final reveal!

Thanks, Elizabeth! It’s been a labour of love (but also a lot of fun) – I enjoy fussing over these details and imagining how I can add even more things to the Playhouse Project.

I’m still fine-tuning a few things, but it’s nearly done! I can’t wait to share!

I love this cute little playhouse…how I wished I had one when I was a little girl…but I really really love that paint sprayer…shame they dont have anything like this in Portugal…you are so lucky to live in the USA with all the choice of shops and DIY places you can go for tools! You did a great job and your girls should be really proud of their mum!

The paint sprayer is amazing – I won’t lie. I don’t live in the US, though, I live in Canada. Are there any DIY/Home Improvement stores in Portugal? I know that you can get the Finish Max in our local Home Depots.

And thank you so much for the compliments, Diane. The girls have been loving the playhouse. I’m nearly done all of the fussy bits for it. I’ll be posting a reveal very shortly!

We have a cedar kit playhouse that I’ve been dreaming of painting white. I’d never thought about white stain! Do you know if you would work on any cedar? Did you have to sand first or just pressure wash as you would a deck?

I didn’t sand nor pressure wash, actually! I just stained away. Cedar does have to dry out a bit after you get it from the lumber yard. They will give you an idea of how long to wait before you can stain it, but then you’re good to go! I’d love to see pictures after you tackle it!

In all things there are three choices: Yes, No & no choice, except in this — I either choose the truth or I am deceit.
